About Daisuke Nogami

A project manager who leverages a deep, experience-backed understanding of management and frontline operations, along with a strong grasp of technology and data. While maintaining a high-level, strategic view of major organizational and societal challenges, they guide the organization closer to its ideal state through relentless, incremental initiatives. During the first half of my tenure at DeNA, I worked in the social games division, where I provided analysis, consulting, and team development from the perspectives of a developer, publisher, and platformer. I also undertook engineering-focused tasks, such as building the foundational data infrastructure necessary for robust analysis. While officially employed at DeNA, I joined the space startup ALE as its second full-time member and COO during its business launch. My responsibilities included investor relations, project management for service development leveraging my technical expertise, trademark acquisition, recruiting technical talent, liaising with public bodies such as JAXA, central government agencies, and local municipalities, managing extensive public relations and media interviews, and setting up the office. Returning to a full-time position at DeNA for the latter half of my tenure, I led company-wide reform initiatives. Key projects included establishing an integrated risk management framework that balanced proactive and defensive measures, driving a company-wide transformation project from the COO/CEO's office to align with a CEO transition (which involved revamping the company's mission, vision, and values). From 2021 to 2024, alongside my primary employment, I served as a Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, where I was involved in efforts to improve the quality of the COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application (COCOA). As the project manager for its large-scale update, subsequent decommissioning, and the overall project review, I facilitated smooth decision-making between contractors, the Ministry, and the Digital Agency. Since January 2022, I have been at BizReach. As a member of the BizReach WorkTech Research Institute, I engage in research focused on leveraging "technology to empower the workforce" through data analysis. Concurrently, I provide consulting services to clients of the BizReach and HRMOS divisions to support the establishment of new organizations, addressing client challenges that go beyond the scope of standard HR data and talent management services.
