About Daisuke Sone

I have worked on big projects (Over $100M USD) inside and outside Japan as a mechanical engineer to manage budget, schedule and personnel since I entered Obayashi Corporation. During working in the main office, I worked on estimating equipments, planning work for bid projects, on research and develop project and on planning section of Machinery division. I am capable of working as not only engineer but also manager. As an engineer, I am good at analyzing a lot of facts that occur on site and taking action as needed. As a manager, I am good at negotiation with suppliers and managing people who work with. I was in charge of tunneling work and managing equipments. I have worked with international people such as Americans, Europeans, Middle and South American, and Asia. Five of patent applications were submitted during my work for Obayashi. They are for equipments of tunnel construction and/or safety. I have worked for construction cost estimating division of Chiyoda Corporation.
