As I have worked and learned, I have developed the ability to be a team player. I have practiced this skill throughout my time in the Bloomsburg University marching band. From the many years that I have spent devoting myself to band, I have learned that every single player is crucial to the band. Marching band is a team effort. During the show, each member relies on one another to hear the correct spot in the music, or to make a formation. It is vital that each member is there during practice or else it may mess up the group as a whole. Overall, it taught me how to work with others from many backgrounds. From experiencing all of this, it has helped me to show up and help my team successfully work together.
