Health Promotion leader with several years’ experience in Community Health and Local Government sectors. Experience includes- Managing multi-year Integrated Health Promotion plans, organisational strategies, implementation plans, and shared regional plans- Manage multi-disciplinary projects including the provision of consultants and internal and external project teams and working parties that promote health and wellbeing, community safety, health equity and the prevention of violence against women- Managing and upskilling teams to deliver best-practice health promotion programs in line with identified community needs- Embedding intersectionality gender equity, diversity and inclusion, community co-design and systems thinking principles into strategic planning- Experience managing health promotion portfolios including, gender equity, prevention of violence against women, food systems, community safety, physical activity and active travel- Manage and report on area budgets and provide financial planning support to the team.I care about the communities I work with and supporting them to use their voice to be the drivers of change is forefront in practice. Forming meaningful community partnerships and empowering communities is central to addressing compounding health and wellbeing inequalities and reducing societal and economic barriers for equitable participation in society.My post graduate studies in Health Economics combined with my career, have given me a unique lens into the cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit evaluation of complex systems of primary prevention initiatives. As well as an interest in evaluating current economic policy, evaluating health services and interventions, and leading priority setting management in health systems.
