As a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in agricultural sciences and extensive experience in sales, communications, and educational programming, I am passionate about promoting sustainability and regenerative agriculture. My journey has been driven by a deep commitment to transforming food systems and fostering environmental stewardship. I hold a Master’s in Integrated Agricultural Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Texas State University, where I gained a robust understanding of soil health, agroecology, research methods, and agricultural leadership. My academic pursuits were complemented by hands-on experiences, including research assistant roles and study abroad programs that expanded my global perspective on sustainable agriculture. Currently, I serve as a Garden Educator at Gardopia Gardens, where I teach and implement educational programs that promote urban agriculture and environmental stewardship. In addition, I have taken on leadership roles at Compost Queens as Director of Communications and Farm and Market Support, where I develop multi-channel communication strategies, manage finances, and lead a team to drive engagement and sales growth. My career has been marked by a passion for connecting with diverse communities and driving impactful change. From conducting engaging garden tours at the San Antonio Botanical Garden to working on composting initiatives that reduce waste and support soil health, I am dedicated to creating positive environmental and social outcomes. I am particularly inspired by the potential of regenerative agriculture to restore ecosystems, support animal welfare, and provide nutrient-dense food.
