About Daisy Lopez

As Senior Director of Program Services at California Health Collaborative, I have the honor of leading an extraordinary team that doesn’t just deliver services, we hold space for healing, possibility, and change across the Central Valley. My work spans seven CA counties and reaches communities who have long been overlooked. At the heart of it all is my belief that people deserve to be well, to be heard, and to belong. With over 17 years of experience in community-rooted program leadership, I’ve built a career grounded in equity, elevating youth and community voice, and collective growth. I lead teams of skilled, heart-centered professionals who not only know their craft but also lead with care. My focus is on developing people, not just programs, because true transformation happens when we invest in our workforce with the same intention we invest in our communities. Storytelling is one of my most powerful tools as a leader and public speaker. Whether I’m addressing a conference audience, guiding youth in policy advocacy, or helping my team find their voice as leaders, I share stories that bridge hearts and minds, moving people from understanding to action. My speaking work is rooted in lived experience and designed to inspire connection, hope, and collective responsibility. Outside of my full-time role, I lead Semillas Consulting and The Moody Daisy, two ventures born from my commitment to healing and joy. Semillas supports organizations and leaders who want to create more compassionate, community-rooted workplaces, with an emphasis on team culture, healing-centered leadership, and equitable systems. The Moody Daisy brings beauty and celebration to life’s milestones, reminding me that joy, too, is part of the work. Both are extensions of my belief that we heal in relationship with ourselves, our teams, and our communities. I hold a Master of Arts in School Counseling and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Fresno Pacific University, bringing both heart and strategy into every room I enter.
