About Daisy Lopez

Hi, I’m Daisy Lopez! I’m passionate about tech security and working toward building a career in cybersecurity. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing in the field of protecting digital environments. My background includes a Cybersecurity Basics Internship at TLT – Tomorrow's Leaders Today, Inc, where I researched cybersecurity threats and developed a draft risk assessment and business continuity plan. I'm experienced with Splunk Enterprise for log analysis and security monitoring and will soon be leading a hands-on Splunk lab workshop to help others strengthen their security skills. My experience as a server at Good Day Café taught me valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and time management, all of which I apply to my technical work. As an active member of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS), I stay connected with industry professionals and keep up with the latest trends. Let's connect to share insights or collaborate on new projects!
