About Daisy Morales

Daisy Morales brings years of experience and deep knowledge on the non-profit industry.Daisy has spearheaded several key initiatives during her time at AAMA. She executed a strategic plan to bring all the AAMA programs together and increase opportunities in providing education and job training to the vulnerable population AAMA serves.Daisy retired as senior executive with Community Health Choice (Community) a non-profit health plan serving children and women that are pregnant on Medicaid.At Community, Daisy increased the growth by 500%, created new market segments, and honed multi-cultural marketing for Community and within the local marketplace.Daisy helped other organizations in the community, within her industry grow, and thrive. She helped guide the investments Community made in other health and human services non-profits. Daisy collaborated with other leaders in the Greater Houston region, helping start new clinics in at-risk neighborhoods, and building capacity at other non-profit.Daisy is passionate about the wellbeing of women and children. She volunteers with worthy causes in the community, sometimes in formal leadership capacity and other times simply working on the front lines, anonymously. Additionally, Daisy is a Board member with the Episcopal Health Foundation and former Board member of AAMA, Hispanic Health Coalition, The Good Neighbor, The Women’s Fund, Avenue 360 Health & Wellness Centers, and Harmony Public School Charter.Daisy is a recipient of the Houston Business Journal “Women That Mean Business” award and the Ford Motor Company “Mujeres Legendarias” (Legendary Women) award.
