About Daisy Saenz

As a First Officer at Delta Air Lines, I fly the Airbus A320 and bring over nine years of well-rounded aviation experience spanning airline operations, flight instruction, and leadership. Before joining Delta in July 2023, I served as a Captain, Assistant Chief Pilot, and Functional Check Pilot at Endeavor Air, a Delta Connection carrier. I hold an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and maintain credentials as a CFII, MEI, Gold Seal Flight Instructor, and AOPA Distinguished Flight Instructor. I'm passionate about aviation education and mentorship and have been recognized with multiple awards for instructional excellence and safety advocacy. I actively contribute to the aviation community as an FAASTeam Member and Minneapolis–St. Paul–based volunteer. I’ve held leadership roles as Secretary of both the Minnesota Pilots Association and the Minnesota Seaplane Association. I currently serve as Co-Director of OBAP ACE Camp Twin Cities, an immersive program designed to introduce underrepresented youth to careers in aviation. I was also honored to speak at Girls in Aviation Day, sharing my journey to inspire young women to pursue aerospace pathways. With a foundation built on skill, service, and community, I am dedicated to uplifting the next generation of aviators and advancing the aviation industry with purpose and integrity.
