About Dakota Hegi

Dr. Dakota Hegi DC grew up in Derby, Kansas. Being active and playing sports up until after his second year of college, he decided he wanted to pursue a career that would allow him to stay in the sports medicine field. After an injury at his regular job he discovered chiropractic being treated by a friend that convinced him to pursue the new career, he knew that this natural form of healing was what he would do especially after having been a patient and avoiding surgery in his Low Back. After getting a degree at Kansas State University and Wichita State University, he then finished the prerequisites at the University of Cleveland – Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas in pursuit of his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Graduating from Cleveland University – Kansas City College of Chiropractic in 2017, Dr. Hegi has returned to the Good Life and is ready to help his community achieve optimal health! In his off time, Dr. Hegi enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Kristin and his two daughters Emma Louise and Chloe Ann, as well as his new son Jace. He likes to stay active with exercise, hunting, and weekend golf time with friends! Dr. Hegi also enjoys Wildcat Football Saturdays for Kansas State University as well as being part of the community around him!
