About Dakota Hunter

I am currently completing my Master of Social Work and will be graduating in May 2025. With a deep passion for mental health, social justice, and equity, I am driven to create meaningful, systemic change—particularly in support of marginalized communities. My long-term goal is to obtain my LCSW and continue building a career that centers around advocacy, healing, and empowerment. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with nonprofit organizations that prioritize community care and transformation. These partnerships have further inspired my commitment to collaborative work that uplifts those who are often overlooked or underserved. In both my professional and personal life, I’m passionate about holistic wellness and the intersection of mind, body, and community healing. I believe sustainable change comes from addressing the full spectrum of human experience—through policy, direct support, and intentional care.
