About Dale Dvorak

After graduating high school, I went straight into the marine corps, after being meritoriously promoted, I worked my first MOS as an aircraft recovery specialist in Iwakuni, Japan. I then was selected for embassy school, which after graduating I served as an embassy guard in Paris, France and Sao Paulo, Brazil. After successfully fulfilling my commitment to my country getting my honorable discharge, it was easy to see my career choice as a federal guard for the next five years. I then made a choice to upgrade my life and joined the united brotherhood of carpenters as an apprentice and started a career that has been fulfilling and challenging ever since. I graduated my apprenticeship as apprentice of the year and was a superintendent in less then five years gaining knowledge and connections that will benefit me for the rest of my life. 13 years of my career in the UBC was with P&C Constructions, which I was very fortunate because they took me in and groomed me for a leadership role, giving me a well rounded background working in tenant improvements, occupied hospitals ( remodeling surgery wings and MOB's and working up to a 27 million dollar campus remodel project for the Clatsop community college. I spent almost 7 years running projects up and down the coast line working on various projects such as Child and family resource centers, High schools, Hospitals, etc. I also took my education very seriously getting two associates degrees and a Bachelors Degree along the way, not to mention all the journeyman upgrade classes and certifications along the way. I also own 30 acres of forest property and a rental house in Tualatin. I still own and operate a successful magic business. Almost a year ago I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to work with Regional council as a representative. now a new venture begins!
