About Dale Gregory

As Purchasing Co-ordinator for the Impala Canada Procurement Team, I help to keep 875+ employees at Lac des Iles Mine Camp safe, well-supplied and productively mining palladium. Palladium is a critical metal used in catalytic converters to reduce harmful emissions from gas-powered vehicles. Impala Canada is proud to be one of the biggest operators in the Thunder Bay area. Our approachable, transparent team wants to forge new partnerships with local materials and services suppliers to contribute even more to the local economy. We are currently expanding our supplier base – contact me if you can support our operation. It takes a lot of stuff to mine our stuff, so show us your stuff! As a Direct Charge Buyer at the mine site, I process Purchase Requisitions from our all our mine departments for non-stock parts and supplies as well as mine site services. I gather quotes to find the best combination of value, availability and quality (preferably from a local supplier). Once our internal approval process is complete, I issue Purchase Orders to the selected suppliers. I have to stay well-organized to manage the large volume of incoming requests and try my best to provide responsive and timely customer service.Register in our vendor database now to partner with us – we are great people who pay our bills and follow through with integrity.
