About Dale Hall

As the Senior Photographer and Project Manager I am responsible for the primary workflow of products to shoot and their deadlines. My studio shoots, processes, keywords and catalogs over 500 images per month. Working with our Creative Director, Art Director and Graphic Artists to collaboratively improve our Consumer Facing images. Equipment maintenance and studio budgets is also my responsibility. Since the invention of Digital cameras a lot has changed for Professional Photographers. The biggest change for me has been the speed in which I can shoot on site and still keep my quality high. Another change is I have greatly reduced my out of pocket cost per shot, which I have been able to pass on to my customers. Reducing the time on site is great for you (My customer) and even better for your client, less interruption to the Residential or Commercial customer. My time on site is less than half of what it was when I was behind my 4x5 shooting film. My post production has gone up, so I work the same amount of time on each shot, just not on site. Turn-around times have also changed, there is no running to the lab, waiting for processing and scheduling delivery. Digital has allowed me to deliver within 24 hours in most cases.
