I am a Non-Executive Director at- Xero, the global cloud accounting software company (NZ headquartered, listed at ASX:XRO)- The Cranemere Group, the investment company for exceptional mid-market businesses- Jupiter Fund Management plc, the asset manager (listed at LON:JUP)- Lightspeed Commerce, the commerce platform for merchants (listed on TSX and NYSE).Prior to these roles, I co-founded mobile pioneer Omega Logic and co-launched pre-pay mobile “top-ups” in the UK. I built the business to gross transaction value of £450m p.a. and sold to Eposs Ltd, then First Data Corporation.I was awarded British Angel Investor of the Year in 2011. I served on a Business Taskforce on EU Regulation in 2013 for David Cameron, the former UK Prime Minister, and as a Non-Executive Director at the Department for Business for 4 years.My earlier career was at PWC (NZ), Vodafone (NZ) and Pearson (UK).In 2015 I was recognised by Debrett's as one of the '500 Most Influential People in Britain', was named in the 'Maserati 100 Entrepreneurs Who Give Back' and in 2014 as Brummell's '30 Inspirational Women Entrepreneurs'.I am a dual British and NZ citizen, have an MBA from London Business School and received a CBE from HM the Queen in 2013 for services to business.
