About Dalia Riad

My name is Dalia Riad. I’m Cypriot but I live in Egypt. I studied Civil Engineering at Cairo University and have been working as a Math teacher and Head of Math department at different international schools in Egypt for 18 years. I have a great experience in teaching mathematics using different strategies, preparing worksheets and exams, lesson planning and leading a group of teachers. Through my 18 years of experience which includes being a mathematics and class teacher for different grades in several British and American schools in Egypt as well as supervising a group of mathematics teachers, I successfully achieved all goals desired by a teacher and a leader as well. I'm currently enrolled in Master of Arts in Leadership in Education at Liverpool John Moore's University U.K. I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and other certificates for safeguarding young children, child protection, mental wellbeing and online safety. I'm a fully qualified teacher with 18 years’ experience with secondary math and curriculum development who is dedicated to work, ethical and passionate about work. An educator who has content mastery and able to establish rapport, use various instructional strategies, encourage discussion and develop sense of responsibility among the students. Able to create a safe learning environment where students can express themselves freely. Looking for an opportunity to contribute my skills to an organization that prepares students to be future leaders.
