Background

About Dalin Broadwater

I am an administrative coordinator with a strong passion for serving people. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University in 2014 and had the opportunity to work in that capacity for over 5 years. My unique perspective allows me to approach challenges with empathy and resourcefulness. During my time as a therapist, I focused on reducing the number of sexual assault victims by working directly with perpetrators. In this role, I developed a quarterly update form utilized for U.S. Federal Probation reports. Additionally, I successfully prepared and delivered presentations to secure multi-year funding from the U.S. Probation System. Alongside my work with individual and group therapy clients, I also took on various testing and reporting responsibilities. As an administrative assistant for a grant funded through the Rehabilitation Services Administration, I excelled in creating an efficient file system and ensuring timely submission of federal reports. These achievements showcase my ability to streamline processes and manage complex projects. I possess excellent time management and communication skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and determination, which have been instrumental in my success both as an administrative professional and therapist. While I truly enjoyed my time in the counseling profession, my career goals shifted when my husband and I received an opportunity to live abroad. Since relocating to New Mexico in 2021, my career aspirations have taken a new shape as I have started a family. However, I remain committed to applying my skills and expertise to make a positive impact in my current role.
