About Dallas Adams

My name is Dallas Adams, I am the Founding Director of DC Adams Group - Why Safety Matters I have 25 years of experience working within the Mining, Civil, and Construction industries including tunneling, commercial, trade, technical training, and public speaking. I have recently broadened my experience by completing a diploma in WHS, Undertaking Public speaking and Training in safety awareness by way of virtual reality simulation training. In my presentation, I talk about my experiences involving the consequences of losing family members to workplaces accidents, working within high-risk works and temporary installation, safety in design and the importance of safety initiatives. I use my experience to recreate the reality of the working environments and the importance of working safely and making safe decisions. I have been fortunate enough to speak at major safety events across Australia and NZ in the tunneling, mining and civil sectors.
