I graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in finance and insurance/risk management from Illinois State University in May of 2021. I am currently working as an Associate National Bank Examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). I work in Midsize and Community Bank Supervision, where I have developed expertise in evaluating financial institutions, ensuring compliance with banking laws and regulations, and mitigating risk. Within bank examining, I am interested in capital markets and asset quality. During my time with the OCC, I have consistently produced exceptional results that have led to increased responsibilities, such as being chosen as an Assistant Training Team Leader. In this role, I worked in tandem with the Training Team Leader to facilitate the training and development of five newly hired bank examiners through classroom presentations and on-the-job assignments. Prior to my work in bank supervision, I held an internship at Country Financial as an Underwriter of home insurance policies. In this role, I collaborated with agents to gather necessary information to make informed underwriting decisions that aligned with the company's guidelines. I am passionate about financial services and continuously seek opportunities to apply my analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, and leadership experience to new challenges in the banking industry.
