My name is Dalton, and I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science. I had the great privilege to serve as Student Vice President of the Student Government Association at the University of Oklahoma(2020-21). Additionally, I had the pronounced honor to serve as a legislative intern for the Honorable Senator Susan Collins of Maine. As a recent graduate, my goal is to obtain a job that will be challenging and thought-provoking. I enjoy a challenge and seek to expand my potential by gaining new skills and knowledge from the workforce. Some of my accomplishments include: • Interned in Washington D.C for the Honorable Senator Susan Collins of Maine • Elected as Student Vice President of the Student Government Association at the University of Oklahoma • J.R. Morris Award Recipient 2020 & 2021 • Deans Honor Roll • Kappa Sigma - Alumni Chair and Student Involvement Chair • Lobbied the Oklahoma legislature on higher education policies on behalf of the University of Oklahoma • Lobbied the United States Congress on higher education policies on behalf of the University of Oklahoma • Interned for Gable & Gotwals • Interned for the Law Office of Marco Palumbo & Associates • Pledged the University of Oklahoma's White Ribbon Campaign • Ran the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial Marathon I am a results-driven leader with organization and coalition-building experience, clear objectives, and sound financial stewardship. In part, my success is underpinned by a positive work ethic, building trusting relationships, and fostering learning and work environments that favor open, safe communication and the exchange of ideas.
