About Dalton Weir

I have over seven years of experience in experience design, including UX/UI design, accessibility strategy, auditing, and legislation, enterprise SaaS, business transformation strategy, and team development. I have also designed software for 2D and 3D mediums such as web, mobile, and VR/AR devices, demonstrating diverse and adaptable skills and experience. As an Accessibility Specialist, I am responsible for helping Interact Software create more accessible, usable, and equitable experiences for our clients and their users. I am responsible for strategising and delivering WCAG and legislative compliance while also ensuring our services deliver the highest quality experiences for the greatest possible number of users, particularly addressing the needs of differently abled and disabled individuals. I am also a Product Designer at Interact, leading and supporting product development via strategy, research, and design. Some of my recent achievements include- Leading design work for Interact on numerous features serving customers like Subway, Dominoes, the NHS, British/American Red Cross, New York Life, Levi Strauss, and others - Designing an end-to-end mixed reality medical training solution for a global healthcare leader delivering thousands of pounds in revenue for us and our client - Redesigning user engagement systems and practices worth hundreds of thousand of pounds for a financial organisation of employees and 3.9 million users - Designing and implementing accessibility compliance and data collection and reporting systems for an organisation that hosts hundreds of thousands of tourists and millions of digital visitors each year.
