As Group Head of Compliance for Sentry Fire Safety Group, I provide strategic leadership and oversight of compliance, quality, health & safety, governance, and ESG across the Group, ensuring that all fire safety products and services meet or exceed statutory, regulatory, and industry standards. I am responsible for establishing and maintaining robust assurance frameworks that promote safe working practices, ethical operations, environmental responsibility, and long-term organisational resilience.Previously, in my role as Compliance Manager at Knowles, part of Sentry Doors, I led the quality assurance and regulatory compliance of manufactured fire door products, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards. I bring over 10 years’ experience in quality management, auditing, manufacturing process improvement, and integrated H&S and ESG compliance, working closely with clients, certification bodies, regulators, and internal stakeholders across the UK and Europe.My expertise includes the development, implementation, and continual improvement of quality, environmental, health & safety, and ESG management systems, leading internal and external audits, managing non-conformities, and driving corrective and preventive actions. I play an active role in strengthening H&S culture through risk assessment, incident investigation, corrective action management, and compliance with applicable legislation, while supporting ESG objectives such as responsible sourcing, environmental performance, ethical governance, and transparent reporting.I am highly experienced in working with third-party certification schemes and regulatory frameworks and hold professional certifications as a Quality Engineer and Lead Auditor. My technical expertise includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC, PEFC, IFC certification, BM TRADA Q-Mark fire door schemes, and the integration of H&S and ESG principles into operational and compliance strategies.I am passionate about raising standards within the fire safety sector, fostering a strong safety-first culture, and ensuring that products and services deliver the highest levels of safety, performance, regulatory assurance, sustainability, and stakeholder confidence.
