About Damien Boucher

Started as a steel worker in my younger years shortly after high school. I worked many different areas in the pipe and steel divisions during my time. I was working in the yard before I decided to move to Victoria and start a career that was far better suited for myself. I had hobbies of building computers and programming from the ground up. I decided that I wanted to do what I loved to do and actually make a career of it. When I arrived in Victoria, I had went to school to obtain my IT certifications. I took stepping stone positions in Victoria to learn the city and learn the cultures. I then started a position at AML Oceanographics. I instantly fell in love with the position. It only took me a few months to get familiar with the products and how the company operated. I really enjoy being able to create a schedule based on what was expected of me as an assembly technician. This allowed me to open time to help train new employees and take on new projects. I was asked to take over a role as the custom configuration on instrumentations technician as the current holder was about to move into tech support. I love learning new things that I am excited about. This position at AML has been the best role for me and I absolutely love going to work. I couldn’t ask anything more from the company as it has the greatest work life culture and a position that is always challenging me. There is no better feeling than conquering these challenges.
