About Damien Garault

IT leader with 20+ years of experience driving excellence in Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), and Service Desk operations. I'm deeply passionate about creating scalable, efficient systems that bridge the gap between IT and business—especially through platforms like ServiceNow and BMC Remedy. I bring a strong focus on IT Asset Management and CMDB governance, having led enterprise-wide ServiceNow implementations integrated with discovery and monitoring tools like SCCM, Intune, Qualys, and ExtremeCloud™ IQ. My work has enabled greater data accuracy, lifecycle visibility, and decision-making across ITSM and ITOM practices. A vested participant in LEAN, Six Sigma, Right to Left thinking, and ITIL frameworks, I believe continuous improvement isn’t a goal—it’s a mindset. I use these principles to drive measurable results, from process optimization and cost savings to enhanced service delivery and stakeholder alignment. I thrive on solving complex IT challenges, strengthening vendor partnerships, and leading initiatives that turn data into meaningful outcomes—especially in environments where ServiceNow, CMDB strategy, and ITAM maturity are key to success.
