About Damien Guy

With 20 years in the energy sector, I have gained extensive experience through leadership positions across the entire industry value chain. My core competencies include Energy Storage (12 years), Renewables, Photovoltaic, Electrical engineering, Energy markets, EV chargers’ networks, Demand response and Energy efficiency. Since 2005, I have worked in the development, construction and operation of over 100 projects at MW-scale and C&I levels, across various energy markets including US, Canada and Europe. I participated in extensive due-diligences in US and China of several startups and Energy Storage/Solar technology providers. I have established new activities and business units from scratch, building and leading brilliant teams strongly engaged in a positive work environment. I’ve been a pioneer in Stationary Energy Storage since 2012, deploying the world firsts MW-Scale commercial projects for EDF in US and France, then pursuing with MW-scale and C&I deployments, ranging from 1MWh to 500MWh each, for Frequency regulation, PV Coupling, Peak shaving, Voltage regulation and Microgrids, in 8 different countries. I am passionate about accelerating the energy transition by targeting the key segments of this industry, and I am committed to supporting developers, investors, technology providers and any other industry players looking for developing their activities in energy storage, renewables and energy management.
