About Damon Rogers

With over 12 years of experience in STEM research and education, I am a founder, a mentor, and a problem solver. I have a strong sense of mission to create accountability for the research conducted and published, and to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. I am currently the founder of Rogers Technology LLC, a research and development company that offers mentoring, consulting, and STEM-focused programs for schools in the Greater Detroit Area. As a founder, I oversee the strategic direction, operations, and partnerships of Rogers Technology, and ensure that we deliver high-quality and impactful services to our clients and beneficiaries. As a research mentor at Ecotek Lab, I developed and implemented techniques and structures for various science projects, such as breast cancer biosensor, water quality testing, and material science. I also presented our research findings at various academic and professional venues, such as Michigan State University, Detroit Science Center, and NAACP. Through these roles, I have honed my skills in problem solving, coaching and mentoring, and sustainability, and I have learned to collaborate with diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
