About Damon Vine

As director of Veterans and Military Resources, I am responsible for multiple high-visibility programs designed to assist exiting/transitioning military veterans into higher education and propel them into our nation's workforce. During my time at the University of Denver, our enrollment of military-affiliated students has nearly doubled and been recognized by U.S. News and World Reports, Military Times - Best for Vets School. In my role at the University of Denver, I am responsible for over 450 GI Bill users and their campus experience. This involves pairing my master’s degree in Research Methods and Statistics with my role as director and developing mixed-method surveys to ensure we provide quality programming to our population. Since I arrived at DU, we have increased our GI Bill revenue by 30%, and our enrollment has nearly doubled. This has led to recognition from prominent publications like U.S. News and World Reports and Military Times Best for Vets – Colleges. My work at DU has served to enhance the military-affiliated student experience and grow from a staff of one to a staff of seven. I'm passionate about increasing any team I'm a part of, developing my professional knowledge, and supporting others in their growth.
