About Damyan Pushtiev

I am a Marketplace Trade Data Analyst involved in the day-to-day monitoring of trade of Amazon and eBay accounts. Tracking and reporting on key profitability metrics such as GP, EBIT and Marketing spend is the essence of the role as well as coming up with measures to improve them. My journey in e-commerce started in September 2020 when I started as an e-commerce intern at Banter King. There I learned to use Shopify and established a foothold for the company at Amazon and eBay. Dealing with the customer service as well as helping with the management of the Facebook and Instagram business accounts were my other two main areas of responsibility. A few months later, I was given the position of Expansion Executive where my main task was the management of Banter King’s eBay and Amazon accounts. Later on, I was instrumental in the creation and growth of Banter King’s store on Etsy-a platform which was quite successful for the company. In August 2021, I started working at JD Sports Fashion plc as an e-commerce assistant merchandiser and in May 2023 I took the marketplace trade analyst role. When it comes to higher education, I have a Master’s Degree in marketing from the University of Exeter. It was received with Distinction. I also have a BSc Business Management Degree from the University of Dundee. These two pursuits have taught me the importance of understanding customers and having sound managerial practices for the successful running of an organization. Recently in my spare time, I've been looking into coding, and have been doing courses on SQL, HTML, and CSS all of which are useful for my e-commerce/analytics career journey. Self-actualization and constant personal growth are two principles that I try to follow rigorously, but we all need the occasional break from time to time. In my spare time/ holidays, I enjoy hiking in the Peak District or The Scottish Highlands whenever there is an extended weekend. I look forward to connecting with you!
