Extensive experience related to Security Management, Threat Risk Assessments, Experience as a lead canine Instructor at the Ottawa International Airport. Experienced maintaining and update budget ledger, monthly operational reports, stats, training logs and certifications. Report briefings to Senior staff. Update SOPs, Action plans, Operational concerns and calls for service. 30 years service with the Ontario Provincial Police,15 years service with the Ontario Provincial Police Canine Unit. Extensive Investigational experience and skills, demonstrated ability related to training and certification of frontline police officers. Extensive experience with Commercial, Military (HME) Homemade Explosives, Peroxides and Propellants, Controlled Drugs, Cadaver, Search and Rescue, Human Tracking, Attack Apprehension and Heavy Urban Search and Rescue canines. University of Texas (Certification In Search Specialist, Canine Search Specialist and Department of Homeland Security - FEMA equivalent Certification in Structural Collapse) completed research with Ryerson University,(CAT project - structural collapse rescue) certification. Enjoy working with the Children's Make A Wish Foundation Canada, supporting various primary and secondary schools throughout Ontario in my role as an OPP ambassador with the K9 program as well supporting Indigenous communities and various social and housing supportive programs.
