Client-centric professional providing Administration, Sales & Executive Assistance In my role as Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones, I handle sole administration of the office and act as the first point of contact for our clients and the public, while providing executive assistance to the Financial Advisor. Through the direct scheduling of day-to-day operations, I've partnered with the Advisor to successfully on-board new clientele and deepen existing relationships for over 300 households. And through completion of the 'Strengthening the Branch Team' and 'Leading Branch Business Planning' educational workshops, I've continued to broaden my industry knowledge. Focused on providing wealth management through goals-based investing, personalised retirement plans and insurance, I'm proud to be part of one of North America's most trusted financial services firms. Prior to this, I held the position of Export Sales Assistant at Interfor Corporation. In this integral role I supported the Western Red Cedar Export Sales team and Gilchrist Pine Division by providing administration, customer relations and global logistics. Working closely with managers and fellow sales associates, I gained vital experience dealing in the North American and international markets of Europe, Japan and China. My hands-on coordination of world-wide logistics provided me an entirely new skill set; scheduling International container and North American transport & railcar shipments and preparing and providing the accompanying documentation. This also allowed me to build close working relationships with freight forwarders, drayage carriers, vendors and mills. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at Interfor and will be forever grateful for the knowledge I gained and the friendships I forged. In 2017 I completed the Office Administration with Technology Program through BCIT, graduating in the 96th percentile of my class.
