About Dan Brandt

Dan Brandt is a highly skilled Graphic Arts Specialist who has been active in the printing and graphic communications industry his entire 45+ year career. He has worked as a tradesman in multiple pre-press, press-room, and bindery shops, and has held multiple positions for many major software and hardware industry vendors. His duties have included training and implementation, sales and end user technical support, product development, management, and marketing. He has had responsibility for launching new products, for evaluating and implementing state-of-the-art applied software and hardware technologies, and for setting-up complete workflows from origination to full production. Dan is known industry wide for his innovative and creative application of educating the associated tradespeople on the latest graphic arts technologies to all print markets, including Wide Format, Digital, Packaging, Flexo, Label, and Commercial Print. He has worked as a Technical Specialist/Instructor on may different levels for Fujifilm, SCREEN USA, IDEAlliance G7-PCC-CMP, CGS, EFI Fiery XF, Epson, HP, Cannon, Apple, Adobe, ColorGate, ONYX, Caldera, GretagMacbeth, X-Rite, Techkon, Serendipity, just to name a few of the major vendors he is partnered with. He has been associated as a teacher with many colleges in the Midwest, and has worked closely with Harper College in Illinois on their outstanding graphic arts program. As a fully certified graphic arts consultant, he specializes in performing strategic workflow analysis for industry shops, system design & configuration, hardware & software installation, training and application, technical support, and complete color management and system workflow implementation.
