I have been working in the Outdoor Industry for the last 24 years in various capacities. After completing an HND in Countryside Recreation Management, I have worked in various outdoor activity centres, volunteered on the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, served on the committee of the local canoe club and more recently been employed by the county sports partnership and then the local Schools sports partnership to develop and deliver outdoor education. A keen Mountain Biker, Kayaker and Runner, I am often found improving my own skill level outside of work. I am currently the Operations Director for Channel Group in Minehead, Somerset. I ran miles in 2018 and completed the Virgin Money London Marathon in 2019 in a time of 3 hours 26 mins and 59 seconds for Mencap.
