As a Orthopedic Surgeon for +35 years, I am able to comfortably and confidently say that I have worked at every level of Sports Medicine. I have recently retired (July 1, 2014) from active Orthopedic Surgery but still spend most my days consulting or advising for both patients and doctors alike.
