About Dan Carr

I am an experienced Windows/payroll technician with a successful track record working for market leading companies within the software/financial services and media production industries in the UK. I am skilled in researching, presenting data, Microsoft Office 365, media analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving and I am a UK & I Payroll specialist, supporting Sage customers since October 2017. I also do regular UAT testing on our desktop based products and also support our customers with login issues with to our website, including Customer Care and any concierge. I am a creative arts and design academic, regularly giving lectures within the social sciences department at Northumbria University on behalf of Dr Russ Hunter. I am an industry standard editor and a fully accredited AVID media composer technician by trade. I also have experience working at ITV Tyne Tees and for Endemol Shine at Elstree Studios. I graduated with my BA (Hons) Film & Television in 2017, joining Sage shortly after. Following my graduation, I used the skills I had learned within the TV industry and my academic institution to flourish at Sage, being appointed Deputy Site Leader of our North Park HQ by Tony Lehner (VP People - Sage Global) in May 2019 with the aim of increasing staff cohesion, engagement and retention.
