Specialist Factual Producer / Edit Producer with a History background and passion for the arts, science, travel and archive films. I've also developed and worked on Documentaries, Popular Factual and Fact-Ent formats. I have a strong editorial sense, thorough eye for detail and enjoy turning complex information into compelling narrative. I have edit produced on series for Nat Geo and Channel 4. I have also directed shoots and am confident interviewing and producing contributors - from academics to politicians, and members of the public discussing sensitive subjects. Very experienced setting up complex international shoots and managing difficult logistics. 3+ years experience in Development - working on projects for all major UK and US broadcasters. I am a good writer, have a successful track record with access, am confident generating ideas, and can turn a top-line into a full series treatment or visually exciting deck. In 2019 I gained access to the Environment Agency which led to an ITV commission for a 9pm doc on flooding (Britain Underwater, Shine TV). Previously, original research and treatments also won a Netflix history series commission (Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan, Cream Productions) and a Channel 4 travelogue (also Shine TV).
