Background
About Dan Connerty
Founder | Former Private Wealth Advisor | Professional Baseball Veteran I started NTangible because I saw a gap in how athletes are evaluated; not just physically, but mentally. Talent alone isn’t enough to succeed at the highest levels; mindset, adaptability, and decision-making under pressure separate the good from the great. At NTangible, we use advanced sports assessment analytics to bridge that gap, combining cutting-edge data with mental performance insights. Our AI-driven neurolinguistic scoring system, developed alongside world-renowned psychologists, helps players understand and strengthen the mental side of their game. The goal isn’t just to measure potential - it’s to unlock it. Before launching NTangible, I spent years in private wealth management with Syrja & Associates Private Wealth Management, working with startup founders, business owners, and investors. I saw firsthand how the most successful people approach risk, strategy, and long-term thinking many of the same qualities that define elite athletes. Helping clients navigate the complexities of wealth planning gave me a deep appreciation for the parallels between financial success and high-performance sports: both require discipline, preparation, and the ability to adapt. Baseball has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Playing professionally for the Hamilton Cardinals taught me lessons that extend far beyond the field; how to handle pressure, embrace competition, and stay locked in on long-term goals. That experience - alongside my collegiate career at Northwood University - fuels my passion for helping the next generation of athletes develop not just their skills, but their ability to think and perform like pros. Working with Baseball Development Group reinforced my belief in data-driven player development. I was fortunate to collaborate with some of the most forward-thinking minds in the game, helping athletes integrate biomechanics, mental performance, and modern training methodologies into their development. Seeing players transform through the right mix of coaching, technology, and mindset work only deepened my commitment to pushing the game forward. At the core of everything I do, whether in sports, business, or finance, is a belief that success comes from understanding the data, sharpening your mindset, and betting on yourself. Always open to connecting - let’s talk.
