About Dan Cowdell

In my role as CEO of Geelong Sustainability I am responsible for delivering the organisations strategy and overseeing its operations and ongoing growth. I'm passionate about transitioning our community towards 100% renewable energy. I have a background in both commercial and not-for-profit sectors with over 18 years’ experience working as an electrical engineer, project manager and community organiser. Having worked in the fields of industrial automation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, community energy and climate change I bring a unique mix of skills and enthusiasm to any role.
