About Dan Daly

For over two decades, Dan Daly has been helping large organizations to mature their Data Management practices. In managing Enterprise Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence teams, he had key responsibilities for Data Quality and Metadata Management long before Regulatory pressures brought these practices to the forefront. Dan has also established Data Governance programs and implemented Enterprise Data Strategies in the Financial Services, Insurance and Education sectors over the years. Currently, Dan is serving as the Managing Director of Enterprise Data Management at National Student Clearinghouse (NSC)."The Clearinghouse" is a unique non-profit organization on a mission to make education go further with innovative solutions that meet reporting, research, verification, transcript, and data exchange demands across the K-20 to workforce continuum. Dan and his team are implementing an entirely new, AWS-based Data Ecosystem with a comprehensive enterprise data model as its foundation. The new ecosystem is enabling The Clearinghouse to organize its data assets according to enterprise business rules and will deliver data through "purpose-built" integration points that are optimized for high quality, efficient data delivery according to specific usage patterns.
