About Dan Danisa

A creative, analytical, and strong-minded individual with a passion for learning, research, and social development work. Proficient in legal research, drafting, dispute-resolution, and project management. I am currently registered for a research master’s degree (LLM) in public Law at the Nelson Mandela University, where I completed my LLB degree in 2019, and have been working since 2020. My time in this University has been wonderfully enriching, and it has sharpened my commitment to the values of Excellence, Diversity, Social Justice, and Equality. In this regard, I've been working at the Nelson Mandela University Labor and Social Security Law Unit (LSSLU) – as a para-legal. Working at the LSSLU since March 2020, has ensured that I am intimately familiar with Alternative Dispute Resolution, proceedings at the CCMA, legal research, community engagement and facilitation, as well as the drafting of applications, legal opinions, and other communications. In addition to the above, I currently work as a post graduate associate at the Nelson Mandela University Law faculty, where I lecture and provide academic support to staff and student.
