Research interests lie at the intersection of math modeling, database management, software engineering, operations research and agent-based simulation in support of complex decision-making. Am fascinated with integrated modeling environments that link models from different paradigms, e.g, optimization and agent-based. Specialties: I love to dabble in code, writing decision support systems in VBA for Excel, database systems in Access, OLAP in Cognos, plus am one of the last living Fortran programmers who still uses the language. Love to retrofit and upgrade old Fortran programs (a bit like restoring antique cars).
