Currently working as a Project Manager for Bauer Controls where I focus on customer communications, project management, and software and technical support and development in various capacities. The majority of my technical work relates to quality assurance software development for various production and pre-production automatic transmissions and IC engines. Primary customer obligations are to Chrysler (production & pre-production transmissions), Allison Transmission (off-highway transmissions), Hyundai (production engines), John Deere (automatic transmissions) and General Motors (pre-production engines)-2014- Took on increased responsibilities as the project manager of various long term (24+ month) and short-term software development projects for multiple OEM customers. Spending a slightly increased percentage of billable hours in a project management capacity (~20%) while continuing to be primary development engineer for current projects. Oversaw successful completion of all outstanding projects on time and within budget-2013- Continued work at Bauer Controls in the role of Project Manager. Completed successful projects with Chrysler, Allison Transmission, and General Motors. Began management of long-term projects with General Motors and John Deere-2012- Begun work at Bauer Controls in January while finishing my final semester of school. Work focus was on upgrading and refurbishing company owned transmission mapping stand with the end goal of allowing for a larger range of customer transmission test development in house. Supported and assisted production at Chrysler's Indiana Transmission Plant in Kokomo, In. Supported Allison Transmission throughout the process of designing, building, and implementing new automated test stands for various transmission product lines. Begun developmental work with Chrysler transmission, eventually resulting in project management responsibilities.
