Goal:(STEP) Small Business Tax Education Program To be able to offer information to Small Business Owners and individuals that are considering going into business for themselves either via of a Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, LLC, S-Corp, C Corp or Non Profit in such a way that will allow them to make a Smart Decision on "If this is what I want to do". It is our goal to allow individuals and partners to form their own decision as to being involved or owning a business, however, with understanding and knowledge that "not everyone should be or go into a business ownership or relationship". We provide printed data, publications, worksheet materials and examples to allow you, the attendee to make a better decision on "what type of business classification you should select". We provide with class participation examples of each classification from Sole Proprietorship to Corporation using the same figures, as to all you the student/attendee to make a decision based on Tax Rules for you. Through this process of 7 weeks (condensed) or 21 hours we give you tools, education and answers that will allow you to make a decision for yourself, your family and your future business. This will allow the separation from the Individuals who can succeed and those who should not proceed in this endeavor. Or better stated, those that are qualified and the ones that are NOT qualified. The best compliment that we have received a number of times since 1996, when we started this Small Business Tax Education Program (STEP, was from individuals or couples that have stated because of their attendance at these classes, they decided "going into their business idea" was NOT a good idea. We may have saved their family, debt load, loan ability, retirement and possible marriage by their decision to stay in what they were doing and NOT make a change. Again, Not everyone needs to be a "owner" but those make GREAT EMPLOYEES or Managers!
