With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry Dan has gained extensive expertise in the construction and management of various types of projects. From pre-construction to completion Dan has a proven track record. Dan is a Professional Engineer. Dan leads staff, professionals and project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget. His management delivers quality projects that are very efficiently run and profitable. As a Senior Project Manager Dan has managed large fast-tracked projects such as Casino Niagara Interim Casino and Thousand Island Charity Casino; historical restoration projects such as Queens Park Restoration Phase I, Welland Courthouse and the Old Mill Inn Hotel & Spa; and design/build and construction management projects such as Philips Canadian Head Office and Warehouse, the Aurora Town Hall. As the Construction Manager, and one of two professionals in the new start-up office, Dan was instrumental in the planning, estimating and award of a $65million dollar mall renovation in Mississauga due to commence later this year. As the Owner, President and Director of Operations for Royal Building Group, Dan continued his success managing Lump Sum, Construction Management, and Design-Build projects from estimating, to implementation, to commissioning and completion. With Dan’s leadership and commitment Royal Building was selected as Construction Managers for over $10million worth of Casino projects, over $5million of Hotel and Hospitality work and an $18million condominium project. Dan has extensive knowledge of construction methods, job costing, estimating, scheduling, management systems and construction operations allowing this knowledge to be adapted for the clients needs and ensuring the successful completion of the task. Dan has proven leadership qualities and takes a ‘master builder’ approach, an approach based on expertise, professionalism and collaboration to take charge to ensure the success of the team.
