About Dan Hermstad

I am an analytical and experienced professional working at the intersections of agriculture, operations and analytics. I have rich experience and expertise in small grower development, GIS and resource management, supply chain and organic farm production management. I think spatially, geographically and strategically. I am a strong writer. I am a Latin America specialist with fluency in the Spanish language. My approach is born out of my teaching and education experience as well as my background in GIS. In working with others I am collaborative, patient and persistent while I believe in establishing strong data, analytics and research practices to make the best management decisions. I have found a project management skill set useful when organizing large, binational, multii-faceted and complex sets of tasks involving many others. I am interested in all opportunities for collaborating with others to further my on-going professional goal to become an effective leader and creating positive social and environmental impact.
