Dan Kessler is an entrepreneur, real estate developer, government relations consultant, hospitality operations professional and housing strategist with over a decade of experience delivering results spanning across industries. He is the founder & CEO of 1KESS Ventures & Co-Founder & managing partner of K2 Developers specializing in converting hotels and developing workforce housing in destinations such as Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Naples, Florida. Before founding his companies, Dan worked in private equity real estate and a public REIT, closing over $4 billion in transactions. He is also a hospitality professional having worked in executive management programs Marriott International and MGM Resorts International. Dan is civically active as a Biden Presidential Appointee on the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars, a member of the Truman National Security Project, and a founding board member of the non-partisan political non-profit Future Caucus. He has served on the National Finance Committees for a US President and three Presidential campaigns. He has received the 40Under40 award from the Philadelphia Business Journal and City & State Pennsylvania, the 30Under30 award from Politics PA, and was a runner-up for the “Democracy Innovation Award” at the Council of Europe’s World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg, France. Dan holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BBA in finance, summa cum laude from George Washington University.
