About Dan Knight

I am a driven and hard working reservoir engineer, working for Slb. I push to achieve everything to the best of my ability, striving for perfection. I have a hunger for new skills and knowledge, particularly in Earth Sciences and reservoir engineering. I have previously studied on the MGeol Honors Degree, achieving a first class from Plymouth University. I then progressed on to an MSc at Aberdeen University in Reservoir engineering. I am particularly interested in oil and gas reservoirs, with fractured reservoirs at the top of my list of interests. I have a real fascination with hydrocarbon flow within reservoirs. Before starting higher education I was a qualified chef for 10 years and held positions such as head chef, sous chef and chef. However, I felt I had accomplished everything I wanted to out the catering sector and wanted a new challenge. I decided to pursue geology and increase my skills to become multi-disciplined, including reservoir engineering to my geological knowledge.
