I’ve Recently relocated to Carleton Place, I come from 16 years experience growing a Food/Wholesale distribution Business in Northern Ontario (Fortier Beverages Limited) which included a group of 6 companies, 5 divisions and multiple warehouses and locations. I was the right-hand man of the Owner/GM Mitch Fortier. My role in the company was to take on any short/long term projects from conception to Closing. I started at the bottom of the ladder and worked my way up quickly by chasing challenges, being very well organised, and by bringing solutions to the table instead of problems. I have a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of business and can adapt to any situation quickly and effectively. Most importantly, I’m at my very best addressing innumerable issues on a daily basis. My Background: 18+ Years Experience Accounting working for a small to midsize companies (25-140 Employees) 10+ Years Experience in Project Management o Lead/Managed several dozen Critical projects. Largest being in the $10k-$60k range. Lead teams of 10 to 40 people. o Actively Participated in a $90 million contract negotiation. o Juggled multiple roles as my employer’s requirements changed, predominantly in: Finance/Accounting (18yrs), Business Analysis(16yrs) and Contract Pricing Management (14yrs) IT Management (12 yrs) o I’ve also managed and restructured every aspect of a company such as: Sales, IT, Accounting, HR, Warehousing, Delivery, Production, Purchasing, Vendors, Customers, Vehicle Fleet, etc. o Helped in the acquisition and merger of 8 companies and the development of new divisions such as a wholesale foods division and a coffee division
