About Dan Legg
Since graduation from the University of Waterloo, I've developed software for several different platforms including BlackBerry, the web, and Microsoft Windows. I'm relatively language agnostic, as I've developed professionally in Java, C/C++, Actionscript and Flash, J2EE, and HTML/CSS/AJAX and dabbled in my free time with Ruby on Rails and Python. Prior to joining Microsoft, my experience had been quite diverse and included mobile applications, enterprise web applications, predictive text algorithm development, and OS driver development with an emphasis on research and prototype development. Most recently though, I've been developing the system components responsible for the text input stack and its accompanying user experience on Windows, Windows Phone, and Xbox.
