About Dan Levin

I am a driven and passionate developer with a focus on distributed systems and web applications. My core strength is to build user interfaces for web applications based on JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS and AngularJS. I also have solid knowledge and experience of building and maintaining APIs in.NET, Java and NodeJS. Although I enjoy working solo, I prefer working in prestige-less teams where code quality, collaborations, and process optimization through iterative processes are key elements. I also appreciate when teams are given the opportunity to distribute individual task as well as combined tasks with shared responsibilities. I think this gives team members the opportunity to grow their competencies both in-depth and at a wider spectrum. To continuously grow and expanding one’s knowledge is something I highly value. I also believe in sharing and learning from others. I try to share as much of my findings/learnings as possible. I therefore initiated a forum at One Agency where we meet and share our knowledge and experiences in various fields of development. Right now, I am learning more about AWS with the goal of getting certified as an AWS Solution Architect Associate. What I find most interesting about AWS is to build applications with an architecture entirely or largely based on serverless solutions, as this gives me as a developer the opportunity to single-handedly build apps that can handle production-ready traffic.
