From humble beginnings in the small town of Shelby, North Carolina, I attended Western Carolina University from 1966 though 1969 - majoring in Business Administration. However, with the Vietnam War picking up, I delayed my graduation to enlist in the United States Air Force. After proudly serving my country and an honorable discharge, I set off to make my own mark in the business world. I have always believed in helping my community and fellow professionals through simple, common sense solutions. This inspired me to found American Trade Products Inc. in 1990. With a family to support and a blue collar work ethic, I grew ATP into a nationally recognized home improvement product line for over 20+ years. The "Less Mess" Paint Accessories can still be found in some of America's Largest Retailers. I'm now setting my sights higher with Data Based Intel. When the work clock ends, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, golfing, and deep-sea fishing. My dog Dusty is never too far behind.
